Preamble

The present Privacy Policy governs the Water App mobile hydration-reminder application published by CodeFryDev. It supplements the General Privacy Policy and should be read in conjunction with the Water App Terms of Use .

Dissent and Immediate Cessation

Should the User withhold assent to this Policy, the User must forthwith uninstall the Application and discontinue all use.

1. Categories of Information Collected

Automatically Collected Data

  • device Internet Protocol (IP) address;
  • device type, operating system, and application version;
  • screens or pages visited, session duration, and interaction timestamps;
  • crash logs and performance diagnostics.

Location Data

The Application may collect approximate location (not precise GPS unless explicitly enabled by the User) to support location-aware features, aggregated analytics, and service improvement. See Section 4.

Voluntarily Furnished Information

Contact particulars or profile information where the User elects to register or initiate support correspondence.

2. Purposes of Processing

Personal Data is processed for the following purposes:

  • operation of hydration reminders and core application functionality;
  • performance optimisation and defect remediation;
  • aggregated analytics and trend analysis;
  • compliance with legal and regulatory obligations; and
  • transmission of service notices where permitted by applicable law.

The Service Provider does not sell Personal Data.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application may integrate third-party analytics or cloud services (including platform-native software development kits from Apple or Google on mobile platforms). Their respective privacy policies apply in addition to the present Policy.

Web properties employ Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity as explicated in the General Privacy Policy .

4. Location Data Processing

Location data may be utilised for:

  • personalised reminders and recommendations;
  • aggregated, anonymised analytics; and
  • occasional transmission to external analytics services for application improvement.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained for the duration of Application use and for a commercially reasonable period thereafter. Deletion may be requested via codefrydev@gmail.com . Uninstallation of the Application terminates new data collection.

6. Children

The Application is not directed at persons under sixteen (16) years of age. The Service Provider invites correspondence should a parent or guardian believe a child has furnished Personal Data.

7. Security Safeguards

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are applied; however, no information system is entirely impervious to compromise. Security concerns should be reported pursuant to the Security Policy .

8. Data Subject Rights

Subject to applicable law (India DPDP, GDPR, CCPA), the User may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, and analogous entitlements. Requests should be directed to codefrydev@gmail.com — subject “Privacy Rights Request – Water App”.

9. Amendments

Material revisions shall be published at this URL. Continued use constitutes acknowledgment where permitted by applicable law.
