Preamble and Purpose

The present Community Code of Conduct Instrument (hereinafter the “Code”) articulates the standards of conduct expected of all persons who interact with CodeFryDev—encompassing users of Digital Properties, open source contributors, issue reporters, and broader community participants—informed by widely adopted frameworks including the Contributor Covenant and community guidelines published by major open source foundations.

This Code operates as an ancillary instrument supplemental to the General Terms and Conditions of Use and the General Privacy Policy .

Prescriptive Standards of Conduct

Participants are expected, as a condition of community engagement, to:

  • evince empathy, mutual respect, and professional decorum in all interactions;
  • receive constructive criticism with equanimity and good faith;
  • prioritise the collective welfare of the community and its projects;
  • observe courtesy in issue trackers, pull requests, electronic correspondence, and social channels; and
  • accord due regard to divergent viewpoints, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

Conduct deemed unacceptable includes, without limitation:

  • harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or ad hominem attacks;
  • trolling, insulting or derogatory commentary, or sustained disruption of community processes;
  • unauthorised publication of private information belonging to third parties;
  • sexualised language or imagery in contexts where such expression is inappropriate;
  • spam, astroturfing, or bad-faith reporting; and
  • impersonation of CodeFryDev personnel or fellow users.

Territorial and Contextual Scope of Application

This Code applies within project spaces—including repositories, issue trackers, forums, and chat channels—and extends to circumstances in which an individual officially represents the project in public fora.

Enforcement Modalities and Sanctions

Project maintainers retain discretion to remove, edit, or reject contributions and may impose temporary or permanent exclusion upon participants whose conduct is adjudged inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or injurious to the community.

Reports shall be transmitted to codefrydev@gmail.com with the subject line “Code of Conduct Report”.
